Fans at Thursday's league battle between the Sandia Prep Sundevils (Albuquerque, NM) and the visiting Oak Grove Classical Academy Owls (Albuquerque, NM), saw Sandia Prep's soccer squad hold off Oak Grove Classical Academy by a count of 1-0.

The Sundevils (11-4) will now prepare for their battle against Cottonwood Classical Prep (Albuquerque, NM). The Coyotes enter the A/3A District 1 battle with a 2-15 record. In their last battle, Cottonwood Classical Prep was edged by East Mountain (Sandia Park, NM), 2-1, in a league battle.

Next up, the Owls battle the Bosque Bobcats (Albuquerque, NM) in a A/3A District 1 battle, on Tuesday, October 22. Oak Grove Classical Academy will attempt to upgrade on its 13-2 season record. The Bobcats enter the battle with a 10-6 record after their 1-0 league loss to Rehoboth Christian (Rehoboth, NM).
