The St. Pius X Sartans soccer squad scored 6 points and held the visiting Valencia Jaguars to 0 in the Sartans league victory on Thursday.
The Sartans now hold a 14-3 record. They play next when they travel to Artesia for a non-league bout on Saturday, October 19. St. Pius X will encounter a Bulldogs squad coming off a 9-0 league win over Portales (Portales, NM). The Bulldogs record now stands at 14-4.
With the loss, Valencia moves to 6-10 on the year. The Jaguars travel to Highland (Albuquerque, NM) to encounter the Hornets in a 4A District 5 bout on Tuesday, October 22. The Hornets go into the bout with a record of 10-7. Highland won 10-0 in their recent league bout against Grants (Grants, NM)
