The Westfield School Hornets softball team scored 15 runs and held the visiting Pinewood Christian Patriots to 6 in the Hornets non-league win on Thursday.

The Hornets now possess a 15-9 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Piedmont Academy for a non-league battle on Friday, October 18. Westfield School will confront a Cougars team coming off a 9-1 non-league win over Brookwood (Thomasville, GA). The Cougars record now stands at 16-4.
