Virginia High School Volleyball - Altavista tips Dan River

October 17, 2024: Altavista, VA 24517

In Thursday's league challenge, the host Altavista Colonels volleyball team scored a close 3-2 triumph over the Dan River Wildcats.

The Colonels (12-5) will now prepare for their challenge against Gretna (Gretna, VA). The Hawks come into the Dogwood challenge with a 14-0 record. In their last challenge, Gretna edged Dan River (Ringgold, VA), 3-0, in a league challenge.

Next, the Wildcats meet the Martinsville Bulldogs (Martinsville, VA) in a non-league challenge, on Monday, October 21. Dan River will attempt to upgrade on its 5-9 season record. The Bulldogs come into the challenge with a 4-13 record after their 3-0 league win over George Washington (Danville, VA).
