Virginia High School Volleyball - Amherst County overwhelmed by Rustburg

The Rustburg Red Devils topped the visiting Amherst County Lancers volleyball squad by a final score of 3-0 in Thursday's league game.

Next up, the Red Devils confront the Liberty Minutemen (Bedford, VA) in a Seminole game, on Tuesday, October 22. Rustburg will attempt to advance on its 10-9 season record. The Minutemen go into the game with a 1-17 record after their 3-0 league loss to Heritage (Lynchburg, VA).

The Lancers (6-12) will now prepare for their game against Jefferson Forest (Forest, VA). The Cavaliers go into the Seminole game with a 15-3 record. In their last game, Jefferson Forest gained a win over Brookville (Lynchburg, VA), 3-0, in a league game.
