North Carolina High School Volleyball - McDowell over Asheville

The McDowell Titans volleyball team scored 3 points and restricted the host Asheville Cougars to 1 in the Titans league triumph on Thursday.

The Titans now have a 4-12 record. They play next when they host Enka for a The Mountain 3A/4A outing on Friday, October 18. McDowell will play a Jets team coming off a 3-2 league win over A.C. Reynolds (Asheville, NC). The Jets record now stands at 12-5.

With the loss, Asheville drops to 13-10 on the campaign. The Cougars travel to North Buncombe (Weaverville, NC) to play the Black Hawks in a The Mountain 3A/4A outing on Saturday, October 19. The Black Hawks come into the outing with a record of 6-12. North Buncombe lost 3-1 in their recent league outing against McDowell (Marion, NC)
