Central Regional Golden Eagles (Bayville, NJ) boosters left the game satisfied Thursday as they saw their volleyball squad edge the host Toms River North Mariners (Toms River, NJ), 2-1 in a league test.
With the win, Central Regional improves its record to 8-11 on the season. The Golden Eagles travel to Raritan (Hazlet, NJ) to face the Rockets in a non-league test on Saturday, October 19. The Rockets go into the test with a record of 9-8.
The Mariners now own a 8-9 record. They put it on the line next when they host Toms River East for a Shore A - South test on Friday, October 18. Toms River North will face a Raiders squad coming off a 2-0 league loss to Brick Memorial (Brick, NJ). The Raiders record now stands at 9-10.
