Centre Cougars (Lost Springs, KS) boosters left the game satisfied Thursday as they saw their volleyball squad achieve victory over the visiting Wakefield Bombers (Wakefield, KS), 2-0 in a league test.

With the win, Centre improves its record to 14-18 on the season. The Cougars travel to Herington (Herington, KS) to face the Railroaders in a Wheat State test on Thursday, October 17. The Railroaders go into the test with a record of 26-8. Herington won 2-0 in their recent non-league test against Elyria Christian (McPherson, KS)

The Bombers now own a 2-19 record.
