In Thursday's non-league challenge, the host Thunder Ridge Longhorns volleyball team scored a 2-0 triumph over the Chase Kats.
The Longhorns (8-18) will now prepare for their challenge against Victoria (Victoria, KS). The Knights come into the non-league challenge with a 21-14 record. In their last challenge, Victoria achieved victory over Otis-Bison (Otis, KS), 2-0, in a league battle.
The Kats now own a 0-29 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Linn for a non-league battle on Tuesday, October 22. Chase will encounter a Bulldogs squad coming off a 2-0 non-league loss to Clifton-Clyde (Clyde, KS). The Bulldogs record now stands at 18-17.
