Fans at Thursday's league contest between the Tri-City Christian Eagles (Vista, CA) and the visiting Coastal Academy Stingrays (Oceanside, CA), observed Tri-City Christian's volleyball team top Coastal Academy by a count of 3-0.

The Eagles (8-12) will now prepare for their contest against Del Lago Academy (Escondido, CA). The Firebirds enter the non-league contest with a 13-19 record. In their last contest, Del Lago Academy was knocked off by Escondido Charter (Escondido, CA), 3-2, in a league contest.

Next, the Stingrays meet the Valley Center Jaguars (Valley Center, CA) in a non-league contest, on Tuesday, October 22. Coastal Academy will attempt to move on its 4-20 season record. The Jaguars enter the contest with a 16-7 record after their 3-0 league loss to El Camino (Oceanside, CA).
