In Thursday's league match, the McQueen Lancers (Reno, NV) volleyball squad overcame the visiting Damonte Ranch Mustangs (Reno, NV), by a count of 3-0.

Next up, the Lancers battle the Spanish Springs Cougars (Sparks, NV) in a 5A Northern match, on Tuesday, October 22. McQueen will attempt to move on its 18-11 season record. The Cougars enter the match with a 14-12 record after their 3-1 league loss to Douglas (Minden, NV).

The Mustangs (1-21) will now prepare for their match against Douglas (Minden, NV). The Tigers enter the 5A Northern match with a 12-13 record. In their last match, Douglas notched a victory over Spanish Springs (Sparks, NV), 3-1, in a league match.
