The Hardin County Cougars volleyball team scored 2 points and restricted the host Gallatin County Hawks to 0 in the Cougars league triumph on Thursday.

The Cougars now have a 8-6 record. They play next when they host Galatia for a Greater Egyptian outing on Friday, October 18. Hardin County will play a Bearcats team coming off a 2-0 non-league loss to Carrier Mills-Stonefort (Carrier Mills, IL). The Bearcats record now stands at 4-24.

With the loss, Gallatin County drops to 6-11 on the campaign. The Hawks travel to Crab Orchard (Marion, IL) to play the Trojans in a Greater Egyptian outing on Monday, October 21. The Trojans come into the outing with a record of 13-14. Crab Orchard lost 2-1 in their recent non-league outing against Elverado (Elkville, IL)
