Grayson County Blue Devils (Independence, VA) boosters left the game satisfied Thursday as they saw their volleyball squad achieve victory over the host George Wythe Maroons (Wytheville, VA), 3-1 in a league test.

With the win, Grayson County improves its record to 14-4 on the season. The Blue Devils host Giles (Pearisburg, VA) to face the Spartans in a Mountain Empire test on Monday, October 21. The Spartans go into the test with a record of 15-3. Giles won 3-0 in their recent league test against Bland County (Rocky Gap, VA)

The Maroons now own a 9-13 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Auburn for a Mountain Empire test on Tuesday, October 22. George Wythe will face a Eagles squad coming off a 3-0 league loss to Grayson County (Independence, VA). The Eagles record now stands at 21-1.
