With the win, Gila Bend improves its record to 11-4 on the season. The Gila Monsters travel to South Pointe (Phoenix, AZ) to face the Griffins in a non-league test on Thursday, October 24. The Griffins go into the test with a record of 0-8.

The Mavericks now own a 5-6 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Ridgeline Academy for a non-league test on Monday, October 21. South Ridge will face a Eagles squad coming off a 3-0 non-league win over Tri City Prep (Prescott, AZ). The Eagles record now stands at 12-0.
