With the win, Gold Beach improves its record to 4-11 on the season. The Panthers host Myrtle Point (Myrtle Point, OR) to encounter the Bobcats in a 2A Sunset test on Tuesday, October 22. The Bobcats go into the test with a record of 15-6. Myrtle Point won 3-1 in their recent league test against Reedsport (Reedsport, OR)

The Cougars now own a 1-10 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Central Linn for a non-league test on Saturday, October 19. Illinois Valley will encounter a Cobras squad coming off a 3-1 league loss to Waldport (Waldport, OR). The Cobras record now stands at 3-12.
