In Thursday's league challenge, the host Great Bridge Wildcats volleyball team scored a 3-1 victory over the Oscar Smith Tigers.
The Wildcats (10-9) will now prepare for their challenge against Grassfield (Chesapeake, VA). The Grizzlies enter the Southeastern challenge with a 12-6 record. In their last challenge, Grassfield beat Indian River (Chesapeake, VA), 3-0, in a league challenge.
Next, the Tigers meet the Hickory Hawks (Chesapeake, VA) in a Southeastern challenge, on Tuesday, October 22. Oscar Smith will attempt to upgrade on its 7-10 season record. The Hawks enter the challenge with a 16-3 record after their 3-0 league win over Lakeland (Suffolk, VA).
