The Maple River Eagles (Mapleton, MN) volleyball knocked off the visiting Minnesota Valley Lutheran Chargers (New Ulm, MN), 3-0 in Thursday's league bout.

The Eagles now possess a 18-17 record. They play next when they travel to Southwest Christian for a non-league bout on Monday, October 21. Maple River will clash with a Stars team coming off a 3-2 non-league loss to Chaska (Chaska, MN). The Stars record now stands at 15-12.

With the loss, Minnesota Valley Lutheran drops to 2-21 on the campaign.
