Fans at Thursday's league contest between the Math & Science College Preparatory Sharks (Los Angeles, CA) and the host Stella High Charter Academy Eagles (Los Angeles, CA), observed Math & Science College Preparatory's volleyball team top Stella High Charter Academy by a tally of 3-0.

The Sharks (11-10) will now prepare for their contest against Animo South Los Angeles (Los Angeles, CA). The Panthers enter the Crosstown contest with a 4-14 record. In their last contest, Animo South Los Angeles was beaten by New West Charter (Los Angeles, CA), 3-1, in a league contest.

Next, the Eagles meet the Larchmont Charter Timberwolves (West Hollywood, CA) in a Crosstown contest, on Monday, October 21. Stella High Charter Academy will attempt to upgrade on its 2-11 season record. The Timberwolves enter the contest with a 28-11 record after their 3-0 non-league win over Stern (Los Angeles, CA).
