Spectators at Thursday's league bout between the McMinnville Grizzlies (McMinnville, OR) and the host Newberg Tigers (Newberg, OR), witnessed McMinnville's volleyball team gain a win over Newberg by a margin of 3-1.

The Grizzlies now possess a 15-6 record. They play next when they host Forest Grove for a 6A Pacific bout on Monday, October 21. McMinnville will clash with a Vikings team coming off a 3-1 league win over Century (Hillsboro, OR). The Vikings record now stands at 13-8.
