The Mica Mountain Thunderbolts topped the host Sahuaro Cougars volleyball squad by a final score of 3-0 in Thursday's league game.

Next up, the Thunderbolts confront the Sabino Sabercats (Tucson, AZ) in a non-league game, on Wednesday, October 23. Mica Mountain will attempt to advance on its 20-10 season record.

The Cougars (11-15) will now prepare for their game against Flowing Wells (Tucson, AZ). The Caballeros go into the non-league game with a 9-23 record. In their last game, Flowing Wells was dropped by Cienega (Vail, AZ), 3-1, in a league game.
