The Shelby Valley Wildcats prevailed the visiting Phelps Hornets volleyball squad by a final score of 3-0 in Thursday's non-league game.
Next up, the Wildcats confront the Russell Red Devils (Russell, KY) in a non-league game, on Saturday, October 19. Shelby Valley will attempt to advance on its 22-9 season record. The Red Devils enter the game with a 14-13 record after their 3-0 non-league win over West Carter (Olive Hill, KY).
The Hornets (5-21) will now prepare for their game against Belfry (Belfry, KY). The Pirates enter the District 60 game with a 6-16 record. In their last game, Belfry was dropped by Paintsville (Paintsville, KY), 3-0, in a non-league game.
