Fans at Thursday's league contest between the Riverside Christian Academy Royals (Fayetteville, NC) and the host Wayne Preparatory Academy Generals (Goldsboro, NC), observed Riverside Christian Academy's volleyball team top Wayne Preparatory Academy by a tally of 3-0.

The Royals (16-3) will now prepare for their contest against Winston-Salem Christian (Winston-Salem, NC). The Lions enter the Western Conference bout with a 21-2 record. In their last bout, Winston-Salem Christian defeated Forsyth Home Educators (Winston-Salem, NC), 3-0, in a non-league bout.

With the loss, Wayne Preparatory Academy drops to 1-9 on the campaign.
