Fans at Thursday's league contest between the Souhegan Sabers (Amherst, NH) and the host Winnisquam Bears (Tilton, NH), observed Souhegan's volleyball team top Winnisquam by a count of 3-1.

The Sabers (11-3) will now prepare for their contest against Somersworth (Somersworth, NH). The Toppers enter the Division II contest with a 15-0 record. In their last contest, Somersworth notched a victory over Kingswood (Wolfeboro, NH), 3-0, in a league contest.

Next, the Bears battle the Hanover Bears (Hanover, NH) in a Division II contest, on Friday, October 18. Winnisquam will attempt to move on its 5-8 season record. The Bears enter the contest with a 6-5 record after their 3-1 league win over Stark (Weare, NH).
