In Friday's league game, the Ardrey Kell Knights (Charlotte, NC) football squad trounced the host Ballantyne Ridge Wolves (Charlotte, NC), by a margin of 42-7.

The Knights now sport a 5-3 record. They take the field next when they host East Mecklenburg for a Southwestern 7A/8A outing on Friday, October 24. Ardrey Kell will clash with a Eagles squad coming off a 37-19 league loss to Rocky River (Mint Hill, NC). The Eagles record now stands at 3-5.

With the defeat, Ballantyne Ridge drops to 1-7 on the campaign. The Wolves travel to Providence (Charlotte, NC) to clash with the Panthers in a Southwestern 7A/8A outing on Friday, October 24. The Panthers come into the outing with a record of 5-3. Providence won 34-28 in their recent league outing against Palisades (Charlotte, NC)
