California High School Football - St. Francis tops Bishop Alemany

The St. Francis Golden Knights football squad scored 24 points and limited the visiting Bishop Alemany Warriors to 0 in the Golden Knights league triumph on Friday.

The Golden Knights now hold a 1-7 record. They play next when they travel to Paraclete for a Angelus challenge on Friday, October 24. St. Francis will face a Spirits team coming off a 49-28 league loss to Cathedral (Los Angeles, CA). The Spirits record now stands at 6-2.

The Warriors (1-7) will now prepare for their challenge against St. Paul (Santa Fe Springs, CA). The Swordsmen go into the Angelus challenge with a 2-6 record. In their last challenge, St. Paul knocked off St. Pius X-St. Matthias Academy (Downey, CA), 35-34, in a league test.
