The crowd at Friday's league contest between the Canfield Cardinals (Canfield, OH) and the host Howland Tigers (Warren, OH), witnessed Canfield's football squad wallop Howland by a tally of 44-3.

The Cardinals (9-0) will now prepare for their contest against Boardman (Youngstown, OH). The Spartans enter the All-American contest with a 4-5 record. In their last contest, Boardman was trounced by Austintown-Fitch (Youngstown, OH), 31-14, in a league contest.

Coming up next, the Tigers battle the University School Preppers (Hunting Valley, OH) in a non-league contest, on Friday, October 24. Howland will attempt to advance on its 2-7 season record.
