The Gilbert Tigers walloped the visiting Des Moines North Polar Bears football squad by a margin of 55-6 in Friday's league test.
The Tigers now sport a 8-0 record. They take the field next when they host North Polk for a 4A District 5 test on Friday, October 24. Gilbert will clash with a Comets squad coming off a 38-36 league win over Carlisle (Carlisle, IA). The Comets record now stands at 7-1.
With the defeat, Des Moines North drops to 2-6 on the campaign. The Polar bears host Bondurant-Farrar (Bondurant, IA) to clash with the Bluejays in a 4A District 5 test on Friday, October 24. The Bluejays come into the test with a record of 0-8. Bondurant-Farrar lost 30-14 in their recent league game against Ballard (Huxley, IA)
