New York High School Football - Half Hollow Hills East prevails East Islip

Half Hollow Hills East RedHawks (Dix Hills, NY) fans went home in high spirits Friday as they saw their football team achieve victory over the visiting East Islip Redmen (Islip Terrace, NY), 28-7 in a league battle.

With the win, Half Hollow Hills East improves its record to 4-2 on the season. The RedHawks host North Babylon (North Babylon, NY) to meet the Bulldogs in a Section 11 Division II test on Saturday, October 25. The Bulldogs go into the challenge with a record of 3-3. North Babylon won 53-43 in their recent league challenge against Commack (Commack, NY)

The Redmen (5-1) will now prepare for their challenge against Connetquot (Bohemia, NY). The T-Birds go into the Section 11 Division II challenge with a 2-4 record. In their last challenge, Connetquot toppled Centereach (Centereach, NY), 42-14, in a league test.
