Nevada High School Football - Lowry overwhelmed by Fernley

The Fernley Vaqueros walloped the host Lowry Buckaroos football team by a score of 47-0 in Friday's league challenge.

In their next game, the Vaqueros face the Dayton Dust Devils (Dayton, NV) in a 3A Northern challenge, on Friday, October 24. Fernley will attempt to improve on its 7-2 season record. The Dust Devils enter the challenge with a 3-6 record after their 48-0 non-league win over Sierra Lutheran (Carson City, NV).

The Buckaroos (4-5) will now prepare for their challenge against Churchill County (Fallon, NV). The Greenwave enter the 3A Northern challenge with a 8-1 record. In their last challenge, Churchill County was ripped by Elko (Elko, NV), 31-28, in a league challenge.
