In Friday's non-league match, the visiting Polo Marcos football squad scored a decisive 54-14 triumph over the Hiawatha Hawks.
The Marcos (7-1) will now prepare for their match against South Beloit (South Beloit, IL). The Sobos come into the non-league match with a 7-1 record. In their last match, South Beloit was routed by West Carroll (Savanna, IL), 41-22, in a non-league match.
Next up, the Hawks play the West Carroll Thunder (Savanna, IL) in a non-league battle, on Friday, October 24. Hiawatha will attempt to improve on its 5-3 season record. The Thunder go into the battle with a 6-2 record after their 41-22 non-league win over South Beloit (South Beloit, IL).
