Pennsylvania High School Football - Laurel Highlands trounced by Trinity

Trinity Hillers (Washington, PA) followers went home pleased Friday as they saw their football team triumph over the host Laurel Highlands Mustangs (Uniontown, PA), 48-0 in a league match.

The Hillers (5-4) will now prepare for their match against Belle Vernon (Belle Vernon, PA). The Leopards enter the WPIAL AAAA Big Six match with a 3-5 record. In their last match, Belle Vernon routed Ringgold (Monongahela, PA), 48-6, in a league match.

Coming up next, the Mustangs confront the Thomas Jefferson Jaguars (Jefferson Hills, PA) in a WPIAL AAAA Big Six match, on Friday, October 24. Laurel Highlands will attempt to upgrade on its 2-7 season record. The Jaguars enter the match with a 7-2 record after their 45-6 league win over Chartiers Valley (Bridgeville, PA).
