California High School Football - Trona trounced by Mammoth

October 17, 2025: Mammoth Lakes, CA 93546

The Trona Tornadoes football team (Trona, CA), was crushed 76-8 in Friday's league bout with the host Mammoth Huskies (Mammoth Lakes, CA)

With the win, Mammoth advances its record to 7-1 on the season. The Huskies host Mojave (Mojave, CA) to battle the Mustangs in a Hi-Lo (8 Man) contest on Friday, October 24. The Mustangs enter the contest with a record of 3-5. Mojave won 82-72 in their recent league contest against Lone Pine (Lone Pine, CA)

Coming up next, the Tornadoes battle the Lone Pine Golden Eagles (Lone Pine, CA) in a Hi-Lo (8 Man) bout, on Saturday, October 25. Trona will attempt to advance on its 6-2 season record. The Golden Eagles go into the bout with a 1-6 record after their 82-72 league loss to Mojave (Mojave, CA).
