Ohio High School Football - Norton smashes Springfield

The Norton Panthers (Norton, OH) football trounced the visiting Springfield Spartans (Akron, OH), 61-0 in Friday's league outing.

The Panthers now sport a 8-0 record. They take the field next when they travel to Coventry for a Metro game on Friday, October 24. Norton will battle a Comets team coming off a 41-0 league loss to Ravenna (Ravenna, OH). The Comets record now stands at 2-7.

The Spartans (1-8) will now prepare for their game against Woodridge (Peninsula, OH). The Bulldogs enter the Metro game with a 4-4 record. In their last game, Woodridge was trounced by Norton (Norton, OH), 48-7, in a league game.
