In Friday's league outing, the host Norwich Free Academy Wildcats soccer squad scored a tight 2-1 victory over the Woodstock Academy Centaurs.

The Wildcats (3-6) will now prepare for their outing against Old Lyme (Old Lyme, CT). The Wildcats go into the non-league outing with a 4-8 record. In their last outing, Old Lyme was edged by Coginchaug Regional (Durham, CT), 2-0, in a league outing.

In their next game, the Centaurs clash with the Plainfield Panthers (Central Village, CT) in a non-league test, on Tuesday, October 21. Woodstock Academy will attempt to advance on its 3-9 season record. The Panthers come into the test with a 7-4 record after their 2-1 league loss to St. Bernard (Uncasville, CT).
