Fans at Friday's league contest between the Abilene Eagles (Abilene, TX) and the host Legacy Leopards (Wichita Falls, TX), observed Abilene's volleyball team top Legacy by a count of 3-1.
The Eagles (19-14) will now prepare for their contest against Wylie (Abilene, TX). The Bulldogs enter the 5A Region I District 4 contest with a 30-7 record. In their last contest, Wylie notched a victory over Legacy (Wichita Falls, TX), 3-0, in a league contest.
Next, the Leopards battle the Memorial Mavericks (Wichita Falls, TX) in a 5A Region I District 4 contest, on Tuesday, October 21. Legacy will attempt to move on its 13-27 season record. The Mavericks enter the contest with a 27-6 record after their 3-0 league win over Cooper (Abilene, TX).
