Next up, the Islanders battle the Ket'acik and Aapalluk Memorial Carayiit (Kwethluk, AK) in a bout, on Saturday, October 18. Nelson Island will attempt to better on its 6-0 season record. The Carayiit come into the bout with a 0-2 record after their 2-0 league loss to Nightmute Elitnaurviat (Nightmute, AK).

With the loss, Akiuk Memorial drops to 1-2 on the campaign.
