Aniguiin Eagles (Elim, AK) backers were in high spirits Friday as they observed their volleyball team overcome the visiting Tukurngailnguq Grizzlies (Stebbins, AK), 3-0 in a league challenge.

The Eagles (1-0) will now prepare for their challenge against Tukurngailnguq (Stebbins, AK). The Grizzlies enter the Mix 6 Western challenge with a 1-5 record. In their last challenge, Tukurngailnguq beat Hogarth Kingeekuk Sr. Memorial (Savoonga, AK), 3-2, in a league test.

The Grizzlies now own a 1-5 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Hogarth Kingeekuk Sr. Memorial for a Mix 6 Western test on Friday, October 17.
