Belton Tigers (Belton, TX) boosters left the game thrilled Friday as they saw their volleyball squad achieve victory over the host Chaparral Bobcats (Killeen, TX), 3-0 in a league challenge.

The Tigers (28-12) will now prepare for their challenge against Ellison (Killeen, TX). The Eagles enter the 5A Region II District 16 challenge with a 6-31 record. In their last challenge, Ellison was beaten by University (Waco, TX), 3-2, in a league challenge.

Next, the Bobcats meet the Lake Belton Broncos (Temple, TX) in a 5A Region II District 16 test, on Tuesday, October 21. Chaparral will attempt to improve on its 14-25 season record. The Broncos go into the test with a 26-12 record after their 3-0 league win over Waco (Waco, TX).
