In Friday's league match, the Perrin-Whitt Pirates (Perrin, TX) volleyball squad prevailed the visiting Bryson Cowboys (Bryson, TX), by a final score of 3-1.

Next up, the Pirates confront the Newcastle Bobcats (Newcastle, TX) in a 1A Region II District 11 bout, on Tuesday, October 21. Perrin-Whitt will attempt to better on its 28-11 season record. The Bobcats come into the bout with a 9-11 record after their 3-2 league loss to Garner (Weatherford, TX).
