In Friday's non-league challenge, the host Phoenix Country Day Eagles volleyball team scored a 3-1 victory over the Cicero Prep Academy Centurions.
The Eagles (17-2) will now prepare for their challenge against Benjamin Franklin (Queen Creek, AZ). The Chargers come into the non-league challenge with a 9-12 record. In their last challenge, Benjamin Franklin beat San Tan Foothills (Queen Creek, AZ), 3-0, in a league challenge.
Next, the Centurions play the Valley Lutheran Flames (Phoenix, AZ) in a 1A - East challenge, on Tuesday, October 21. Cicero Prep Academy will attempt to upgrade on its 22-9 season record. The Flames come into the challenge with a 3-13 record after their 3-0 league loss to Fort Thomas (Fort Thomas, AZ).
