Nevada High School Volleyball - Pershing County over Coral Academy of Science - Reno

In Friday's league challenge, the host Pershing County Mustangs volleyball team scored a 3-0 triumph over the Coral Academy of Science - Reno Falcons.

The Mustangs (9-12) will now prepare for their challenge against Sierra Lutheran (Carson City, NV). The Falcons come into the 2A Northern challenge with a 13-5 record. In their last challenge, Sierra Lutheran beat Oasis Academy (Fallon, NV), 3-0, in a league challenge.

The Falcons now sport a 4-13 record. They put it on the line next when they host Silver Stage for a 2A Northern test on Saturday, October 18. Coral Academy of Science - Reno will face a Nighthawks squad coming off a 3-0 league loss to Pershing County (Lovelock, NV). The Nighthawks record now stands at 1-18.
