Texas High School Volleyball - Lexington tips Franklin

Fans at Friday's league contest between the Lexington Eagles (Lexington, TX) and the host Franklin Lions (Franklin, TX), saw Lexington's volleyball squad nudge Franklin by a score of 3-2.

With the win, Lexington improves its record to 28-9 on the season. The Eagles host Little River Academy (Little River Academy, TX) to encounter the Bumblebees in a 3A Region III District 19 battle on Friday, October 24. The Bumblebees go into the battle with a record of 8-18.

The Lions now hold a 12-20 record. They take the field next when they travel to Rogers for a 3A Region III District 19 contest on Tuesday, October 21. Franklin will battle a Eagles team coming off a 3-0 league loss to Rockdale (Rockdale, TX). The Eagles record now stands at 10-18.
