Fans at Friday's non-league contest between the Woodlawn Cardinals (Woodlawn, IL) and the visiting Grayville Bison (Grayville, IL), observed Woodlawn's volleyball squad notch a victory over Grayville by a tally of 2-0.

The Cardinals (16-17) will now prepare for their challenge against Hamilton County (McLeansboro, IL). The Foxes enter the non-league challenge with a 15-13 record. In their last challenge, Hamilton County was beaten by Edwards County (Albion, IL), 2-0, in a league challenge.

Next, the Bison meet the Newton Eagles (Newton, IL) in a non-league test, on Saturday, October 18. Grayville will attempt to improve on its 14-18 season record. The Eagles go into the test with a 16-12 record after their 2-1 league win over Richland County (Olney, IL).
