The Greater New Bedford RVT Bears volleyball team scored 3 points and restricted the host New Bedford Whalers to 1 in the Bears non-league triumph on Friday.
The Bears now have a 6-10 record. They play next when they travel to West Bridgewater for a South Coast outing on Monday, October 20. Greater New Bedford RVT will play a Wildcats team coming off a 3-2 non-league win over Foxborough (Foxborough, MA). The Wildcats record now stands at 11-6.
The Whalers (8-10) will now prepare for their game against Bristol-Plymouth RVT (Taunton, MA). The Craftsmen go into the non-league game with a 10-5 record. In their last game, Bristol-Plymouth RVT went down by Diman RVT (Fall River, MA), 3-2, in a league game.
