Texas High School Volleyball - Hondo over Lytle

In Friday's league challenge, the host Hondo Owls volleyball team scored a 3-0 triumph over the Lytle Pirates.

The Owls (22-13) will now prepare for their challenge against Poteet (Poteet, TX). The Aggies come into the 3A Region IV District 28 challenge with a 3-25 record. In their last challenge, Poteet went down by Crystal City (Crystal City, TX), 3-0, in a league test.

The Pirates now sport a 11-24 record. They play next when they host Natalia for a 3A Region IV District 28 challenge on Tuesday, October 21. Lytle will play a Mustangs team coming off a 3-0 league loss to Cotulla (Cotulla, TX). The Mustangs record now stands at 14-16.
