Fans at Friday's league contest between the IDEA Edinburg College Prep (Edinburg, TX) and the host IDEA Pharr (Pharr, TX), observed IDEA Edinburg College Prep's volleyball team hold off IDEA Pharr by a tally of 3-2.

The (21-8) will now prepare for their contest against Vanguard Academy Rembrandt (Pharr, TX). The Spartans enter the 3A Region IV District 31 contest with a 1-4 record. In their last contest, Vanguard Academy Rembrandt was edged by Vanguard Academy Beethoven (Edinburg, TX), 3-0, in a league test.

The now own a 2-3 record. They put it on the line next when they host Vanguard Academy Beethoven for a 3A Region IV District 31 test on Friday, October 24.
