Fans at Friday's league contest between the Nyssa Bulldogs (Nyssa, OR) and the host McLoughlin Pioneers (Milton-Freewater, OR), saw Nyssa's volleyball squad nudge McLoughlin by a score of 3-2.

With the win, Nyssa improves its record to 9-15 on the season. The Bulldogs travel to Umatilla (Umatilla, OR) to face the Vikings in a 3A Eastern Oregon test on Saturday, October 18. The Vikings go into the test with a record of 1-15.

The Pioneers now own a 8-11 record. They put it on the line next when they host Vale for a 3A Eastern Oregon test on Friday, October 17. McLoughlin will face a Vikings squad coming off a 3-0 non-league loss to Pendleton (Pendleton, OR). The Vikings record now stands at 12-8.
