In Friday's non-league match, the St. Francis Spartans (Wheaton, IL) volleyball squad overcame the visiting Nazareth Academy Roadrunners (LaGrange Park, IL), by a count of 2-0.

Next up, the Spartans battle the York Dukes (Elmhurst, IL) in a non-league match, on Saturday, October 18. St. Francis will attempt to move on its 19-11 season record. The Dukes enter the match with a 19-9 record after their 2-1 league loss to Lyons (LaGrange, IL).

With the loss, Nazareth Academy drops to 14-16 on the campaign. The Roadrunners travel to Marist (Chicago, IL) to clash with the RedHawks in a non-league bout on Saturday, October 18.
