Port Neches-Groves Indians (Port Neches, TX) boosters left the game satisfied Friday as they saw their volleyball squad achieve victory over the visiting Port Arthur Memorial Titans (Port Arthur, TX), 3-0 in a league challenge.
The Indians (30-13) will now prepare for their challenge against Barbers Hill (Mt. Belvieu, TX). The Eagles come into the 5A Region III District 19 challenge with a 36-5 record. In their last challenge, Barbers Hill beat Beaumont United (Beaumont, TX), 3-0, in a league challenge.
Next, the Titans meet the Nederland Bulldogs (Nederland, TX) in a 5A Region III District 19 test, on Tuesday, October 21. Port Arthur Memorial will attempt to advance on its 5-22 season record.
