The West Hardin Oilers topped the host Sabine Pass Sharks volleyball squad by a final score of 3-0 in Friday's league game.

Next up, the Oilers face the Chester Yellowjackets (Chester, TX) in a non-league game, on Tuesday, October 21. West Hardin will attempt to advance on its 13-15 season record. The Yellowjackets go into the game with a 27-13 record after their 3-1 league win over Richards (Richards, TX).

The Sharks (2-5) will now prepare for their game against Evadale (Evadale, TX). The Rebels go into the 2A Region III District 24 game with a 9-22 record. In their last game, Evadale gained a win over Deweyville (Deweyville, TX), 3-0, in a league game.
